Need More? Subscribe to My Newsletter!

Along with my blog, I have been putting together a newsletter about me and the real estate market. Features of the latest newsletter:

1. I have posted some great units for sale for the more "price conscious" buyer. Prices for units in Northern Virginia are quite steep, but I have picked out of some great steals in prime locations that are great for buyers and investors.

2. One aspect of real estate that really interests me is the "going green" phenomena that is happening with building developers. I have a great article talking about the different aspects and benefits "green" features contribute to the building and the environment.

3. Especially in this market, buyers have the upper hand in negotiations. One article gives you hints to maximize your bargaining power.

Young Professionals, I have Found Your New Home

I have recently been attracted to a new condominium building called Clarendon 1021 Condominium. Upon walking into the lobby, I noticed that there are a lot of young professionals living here wanting a social atmosphere. Every time I have been in the building, there have been different reminders of building cookouts, meet and greets, and other social gatherings. The building itself is very open, embracing a warm and fiery red, yellow, cream, and beige color scheme throughout the lobby, hallways, and units. Along with brand new stainless steel appliances, high ceilings, and hardwood floors, each unit brought its own uniqueness, as the community has over 50 floor plans.

The secluded rooftop pool has stunning views on all sides, and seems like an ideal place to relax, hang out with friends, and get a nice tan. The bold red gym is state-of-the-art with a wide selection new equipment and TV’s for entertainment.

The location is also prime. Clarendon 1021 is located 2 blocks from the Clarendon Metro Stop. Only 3 metro stops from DC, you get the convenience of downtown DC without the price of living in the more expensive Rosslyn or Courthouse. Exceptional nightlife ranging from watching the soccer match at the local pub, to happy hours, to live music, and to upscale dining are at your fingertips. There is always foot traffic around the area, giving the overall location a very personable feel. When a couple of my friends who were moving to the area asked what building I recommended for a younger crowd, best appliances and amenities, while still in their budget, immediately Clarendon 1021 came to mind.
